Years ago, sitting in Modern History class with Shannon, I never would have imagined she'd be in my home studio on a freezing Toowoomba afternoon (the coldest in over 30 years apparently?) and I would be photographing her in her final weeks before becoming a mum.
They say time flies when you're having fun, but really this is ridiculous! Weren't we JUST teenagers at High School running around the tennis courts like a pair of fools during P.E.? Ok, that's a lie, I never ran ;) Let's just say sport is not my forte....
As you can see clearly time has moved on and we're well past those days. Particularly Shannon who is about to enter the most amazing phase in her life; motherhood.
There was no question that I had to photograph Shannon in her final weeks of pregnancy as she and her husband eagerly await the arrival of their little man. And could she be any more stunning and radiant?! Pregnancy suits you beautifully my friend, but I have a feeling motherhood is going to suit you even more XxX
