Family Session with Evie+Harvey

The light was incredible, the location was amazing, there were smiles and cuddles, and their love  for one another shone as bright as the sun. 

We've all heard the saying, 'you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family'. Well I would choose these guys, a million times I would choose them. How lucky I am to call them all my family and have them by my side in this journey of life. I love my niece and nephew like my own children and can say with my hand on my heart, my sister is my best friend. Not many people can say they've known their best friend since the day they were born. That's pretty special. 

I don't photograph my own family often, as I mentioned in my previous blog post, family members are the most difficult to photograph. But we were lucky this time. Just look at them. Have you ever seen a more beautiful family? What a privilege it is to capture that for them. 

I think it's safe to say my sister got the photogenic gene, but that's ok I'm the better singer :P
