On the farm

On the weekend I went for a drive about 50 minutes out to the most beautiful property and I photographed this awesome family.
With all the recent rain (and it was a bit touch and go for awhile there if we could even go ahead with the session that day) even the drive out to this farm was breathtaking. Green rolling hills as far as the eye could see. How lucky these children are growing up with this as their backyard. And I just love how their cows and chooks are scattered in the background of the photos. They're part of the family too!
I get a little bit excited when families ask me to photograph them on their property because you know how much their land means to them and in many cases it has been part of their family for generations.
The 'L' family brought a lot of fun and personality to their session and I had a ball with them. Loving parents with three adorable kiddos. It doesn't get much better than that!
