It's been a whole year since I saw the A family for Isabelle's newborn photos, and I was so excited to see them again on the weekend.

On the weekend I met up with the B family for some fun family portraits.

Everyone says it will happen. But when you're in the midst of round the clock feeding, sleepless nights, trying to work out how on earth to keep this tiny being safe, happy and healthy for the rest of it's life (and silently panicking that you can't!) you just don't believe them. 

I was so excited when I received an email from this beautiful family to tell me they had welcomed a new addition, their baby girl Rose. 

For months, years even, my beautiful friend has been wanting us to do a family photography session on the beach. Whenever we attempted to plan it something always came up. So while we were on holidays recently at Rainbow Beach, we decided that we would make it happen! 

I was so excited to see the incredibly adorable O twins again, after photographing them as newborns 12 months ago. 

It's been a long time between shoots (and blog posts!) but I'm so happy to be back behind the camera. And what a way to start back from maternity leave with precious little Isabelle and her family. 

On Saturday I had the privilege of meeting the glowing parents-to-be, Rebecca and Greg and capture some maternity photos before their little one arrives.
