After a week on Hamilton Island for our belated honeymoon, and another week off from shooting to catch up on all galleries and orders, it was great to jump back into things on Friday with the Butler family, this time with two extras!
Yesterday I spent a chilly afternoon with the Wildman family, capturing some portraits for them at their home. The Wildmans recently built their dream house, (on their own!) and we agreed it would be the perfect setting for their photos.
This isn't the first time these good looking people have been in front of my camera. I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Miss E 12 months ago, when she was just 3 weeks old.
After our first scheduled photo shoot was postponed due to wet weather, we were spoilt with the most beautiful Spring afternoon for our photos on Friday.
It's been just over four years since I first photographed this family, when Lilly was still in her Mummy's tummy. Look how much their family has grown in that time!
I've photographed plenty of sunsets, a few sunrises, lots of families at sunset, but never have I done a portrait session at sunrise, let alone on the beach.
I loved everything about this family session. The beautiful family, the gorgeous location, the perfect light and the happy polite children. Put it all together on a cold August afternoon and what do you get?
